We are so thankful – these people are so wonderful! My daughter cries continuously. She used to cry because she couldn’t get into her house… now she cries because of the work you’re doing for her.

I cannot say enough ‘thank yous’ for the kindness the SOWERS have shown. I sit here in tears trying to convey to you what’s in my heart. I was/am greatly moved by their kindness. It’s been a long time since someone treated me nice. … In addition, their kindness is helping in renewing my faith, which started faltering when my mother suffered for a couple years in the hospital before passing away. Your volunteers came ready with their own tools and supplies. They worked in the heat and at times in the rain. They worked and played well together. Our home felt empty each time the folks would leave. Once again, thank you and may God bless each and every one.

I learned the ways faith can help you persevere through struggles. As the week progressed we learned about the many struggles our family had, but they were still upbeat and happy. It showed me that faith really gives you something to hold onto when things get rough.

I learned how fortunate we are and that sometimes we are an answer to prayer.

Sometimes it's good to get out of your comfort zone.

Thank you for an experience that will be with me for a lifetime.

All in all it was a wonderful first experience for a mission trip!
