What is an "alternative gift"?
The Epworth Center’s “gift*n*give” program is a nontraditional way
of giving. Rather than buying a present for a relative or friend,
you can help make a difference by donating to one of the Epworth
Center’s ministries.
What
ministries can I donate to at the Epworth Center?
There are four ministries that a person can donate to through
the “gift*n*give” program. These are: SOWER Work Mission—building
repair program; hunger—outreach to local communities,
medical—informational events, health fairs, screenings;
prison—outreach to local institutions, including a correctional
facility and group home for girls. The Epworth Center offers
practical assistance to those in need. You may visit

What
occasions are good for "gift*n*give" donations?
Be creative! Anything you can think of… Christmas, birthday,
wedding, anniversary, new baby, in memory, in tribute, graduation,
congratulations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easer, Thanksgiving,
and many more!
How does "gift*n*give" work?
You donate to the Epworth Center—either via mail or online. When
you send in your donation, send us the person’s name and contact
information. Indicate which ministry you would like the donation to
go. Epworth Center then sends you a statement (for tax purposes).
Epworth Center will also send a card with a description of the
ministry you select. Epworth Center indicates who the donation was
from, but not the amount.
How
can I make sure my donation is used as selected?
The Epworth Center will designate your donation to the ministry
you select. You can be assured that funds are used in the manner
designated! The full amount you donate goes toward the ministry
selected. There are no hidden overhead costs.
How can I donate?
You may make a donation by sending a check with the proper
